Campaign outreach · CBE consulting · Custom marketing projects

In 2024, District Consulting won a competitive engagement with the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development to deliver All Things Green marketing technical assistance to District Certified Business Enterprises. We combined campaign outreach, one-to-one fractional CMO consulting, custom deliverables—including capability statements, website support, market research, and campaign planning—and a marketing workshop. The delivery model balanced individualized recommendations with program-wide efficiency: 34 CBEs were supported, 24 consulting calls were completed, and 13 customized projects were delivered during the 2024 engagement.

01 / The client

Building opportunity for DC businesses.

The DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) supports District-based small businesses, including Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs). Its All Things Green initiative helps companies participate more effectively in sustainable and green market opportunities.

District Consulting was selected to provide marketing-related technical assistance that could be adapted to the businesses and opportunities at hand.
